Company history
Tyler Goddard, LCSW founded Goddard Consulting in 2003. His mission was to create a mental health therapy and consulting business designed to help individuals, groups and organizations eliminate emotional clutter, create a brighter future, and achieve their full potential. The business has evolved and grown over the years but Tyler remains focused on his mission to make a difference in people's lives. Our mental health therapy and parenting classes are provided under the name of Brighter Future Counseling. All services are provided throughout southern Utah with an office located in Cedar City.
Biographical Information
Mr. Goddard graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1997 and went on to become licensed as a clinical social worker in the State of Utah. He and his lovely wife live in Cedar City, Utah with their five children. Mr. Goddard has years of experience as a therapist and consultant in both public and private settings. He has worked with children, adolescents and adults in individual, marriage, family and group therapy. Tyler worked several years in child welfare where he advocated to keep families together whenever possible.
Additionally, Mr. Goddard facilitates parenting seminars for public and private agencies. Over the past several years he has received numerous hours of training from the Love and Logic Institute as well as Katheryn Kvols (Redirecting Children's Behavior). He is a believer in their philosophies as a tool for improving relationships with people of all ages.
Susan Richey, LCSW graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa in May 2008 and recently obtained her clinical license in the State of Utah. She has raised her children to maturity and is now enjoying her grandchildren. Mrs. Richey facilitates parenting seminars for public and private agencies. She is experienced in the parenting philosophies from the Love and Logic Institute, having raised her own children with Love and Logic.
Mrs. Richey enjoys helping clients with various mental health disorders, especially children and families.
